It’s been awhile since I’ve done a coffee review, so I thought I’d talk about my local roaster today. Rare Bird Coffee is in Falls Church, within easy walking distance of my house, and provides most of my coffee, bless them. Last week I picked up Gatomboya, a Kenyan coffee. I definitely tasted the cherry and marmalade notes (which just tasted citrusy to me), but I’m not sure I picked up the plum.
